Touch n Brush Review - A Mom’s Honest Review

Hi! My name is Brenda. I wanted to give you an honest review of the Touch n Brush toothpaste dispenser that we recently purchased. After seeing the Touch n Brush commercial on TV several times, my three year old kept telling me that he wanted one. A tooth brush dispenser? Yeah ok.  As you probaly know, three year olds say that about just about every gaget and toy they see on TV.

As a mom of three boys, my bathroom always had tooth paste EVERYWHERE, on the walls, the mirror, all over the sink, the cabinets and even the ceiling. I am usually not in the bathroom when the older ones brush their teeth so I have no idea what they do in order for the toothpaste to end up covering the bathroom.

I decide to give the Touch n Brush a try to see if it would help at all in keeping my bathroom a little cleaner. I have to say, that the Touch n Brush toothpaste dispenser is an absolute hit in my house. The kids LOVE using it and actually ask to brush their teeth. It is super easy to mount to the wall without having to use any tools because it suctions right to the mirror. I can take it off at any time without damaging anything when I am cleaning. Best of all this toothpaste dispenser keeps the kids from making a bomb out of the toothpaste tube.

Ok, so I give the Touch n Brush toothpaste dispenser a 5 star rating. Now I hope they will make a special something to keep the boys from missing the toilet when they pee. Believe it or not even when they sit down they still miss it. Does anyone know of a solution for this?

Another Mom gave this review

“I bought 2 of these for my kids. They never REALLY made that much of a mess but it just seemed handy. Our stopper on the bottom of our sink is missing so it’s now the toothpaste lid graveyard. Hopefully my husband will clean out the graveyard one of these days. So far, so good! My kids love it, it encourages them to brush their teeth and sorta makes it fun. Mine don’t leak and I expected it to get a little goopy with toothpaste from kids (and grown-ups) hitting the sides of it when you pull out your toothbrush with toothpaste on it. Wiping it down every few days won’t be a problem for me. Now they are available at Bed Bath & Beyond so NO MORE SHIPPING!!! And they still come with the pathetic “sonic” toothbrush that you need earplugs to operate.”

Touch n Brush Toothpaste Dispenser

I bought this to save the space of a tube of toothpaste laying on the sink/toilet (because I live in New York) and it works great. (Anytime you can elevate something vertically, it saves space.) I hated having to screw the top back on with one hand while brushing with the other, so I always bought Colgate which had the flip top, though more expensive.

This works by means of a vacuum and air pressure. When you press the level, it creates a small vacuum and the air pressure squeezes the tube. It will get every last drop.

The hole you put the tube into is not threaded either. It’s made of a rubbery silicone or something, slightly smaller than a tube opening, so it forms a seal and may be hard at first to ’screw’ in. It can also be used for other things in a tube, maybe medicine or antibiotics? If you so choose.

FYI to attach any suction cup to tile or glass, scrape any paint off, clean the surfaces with alcohol, then place a small drop of oil (olive is good) in the center of the suction cup and press hard and hold for 30-60 seconds. Porous surfaces won’t work. I learned this from a suction cup hair brush holder. This item comes with a sticker to create a smooth surface if needed. To scrape paint off tile or glass, use the edge of a credit card.

Some poeple find the touch n brush toothpaste dispenser very valuable. Th eTouch n brush toothpaste dispenser helps solve many storage and mess problems. Read this review from a very inforamative consumer.
5.0 out of 5 stars Clever and saves space, November 28, 2009

This will save messes too. However, if you are a messy person, then this will also be messy. If you are careful, and can insert your toothbrush straight in and straight out, then it will stay perfectly clean. My dad is a messy person, and he did manage to get some on the sides. I was also tired of him squeezing the tube from the middle.

The amount dispensed is slightly less than I’m used to, but it’s enough and will save money over time through rationing.

I like it so much I bought 4 for my friends and family for Christmas. I should get a bulk discount, but I guess the inventor should also get remuneration for thinking up something clever, simple, and useful.

Touch and brush consumer review

Some parnets found teh touch and brush extremely useful. They foudn that that the touch and brush helped them kepe the bathroom clean.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product

Here is the review

My husband and I are both pleased with this toothpaste dispenser. We had been using the “jar” type dispensers with the flip-open lids, leaving them upside-down in the medicine cabinet for readiness, but that just gummed up the lid. This dispenser - though it admittedly takes up a significant amount of space on the medicine cabinet mirror - does not leak, does not ooze, and just quietly works. It will end up being worth the money, because the jar-type dispensers are more expensive than the big tubes which work with this dispenser. I like that the tube of toothpaste is hidden under a clean white cover.”

Touch n Brush Scam

Some moms found the touch and brush to mot be exactly what they bargained for. Here is a review from a mom who was not to happy with the Touch and brush

1.0 out of 5 stars Leaks toothpaste, doesn’t stick to my tile

“I was hoping this product would help save space in my very small bathroom, but now I think all I’ve done is given myself a hole to have to fill in the wall.

After it fell off my tile wall three times, I decided to run a decking screw thru the top suction cup instead (removing the original screw) and affixing it to the wall above where my tile starts. NOW it won’t fall off! (To be fair, I have yet to find ANY suction-cup based utensil that will stick to these tiles. Don’t know why, either, as they are smooth and shiny, not the fancy porous tiles that I really do like.)

So after manually affixing the unit to the wall I proceeded with reinstalling the tube of toothpaste, primed it, used it, and walked out of the room to continue with my evening. A couple of hours later I walked back into the bathroom, and several “servings” of toothpaste (Crest Pro-Health Cinnamon flavor) had accumulated on the push lever below the silicone dispenser. I cleaned this up and left it for the morning.

This morning I got up, and the lever was covered with toothpaste again. This is very frustrating, as I got this unit to keep from having to cleanup toothpaste messes. Instead this adds to the mess, and is wasting a ton of toothpaste in the process.

Maybe it’s just a lemon, but somehow I think not. I’m not going to change to a lesser toothpaste just to (hopefully) satisfy a dispenser. I’d send it back, but between the newly added hole and the cost to ship it I will just chalk this up to a lesson learned. At least I have the correct paint to cover over the filling of the hole in the wall I created…”

How can I take care of my new bonded teeth?

I just got my top front teeth bonded and I was wondering how long does bonding usually last and what are the best ways to take care of them? I grind my teeth at night so my dentist made a night cap for me… He said this will help for then to last longer… What else can I do?

I dont understand what do you mean by bonded? veneers?? crowns ??
Your doctor is actually right. Bruxism or grinding your teeth wears off the enamel. You should try to wear the nightguard as much as possible.
Bruxism is sometimes consequence of nervousness or bad alignment of your teeth so you better investigate the source of it otherwise you will have to wear a night guard for the rest of your life.

How can I take maximum care of my teeth?

I have to go to the dentist soon and I don’t want to get lectured again. I just want him to clean my teeth and say "you take good care of them"

So this is what I want to know.

How and when to brush my teeth.
How and when to floss.
How and when to use mouthwash.
etc.

Brush your teeth in circle motions, first bottom half and then top half. Then all together. bottom half should brush for 30 sec and same wit top and when all together.
Brush every day twice a day so once before breakfast and once after dinner. brush before you eat because if you dont brush b4 u eat then all dat ewww spit and mucus will go down your throat n tummy. So always brush BEFORE you eat .
Floss atleast once a day preferably wen your brushing at dinner time.
Floss each tooth and move the floss side to side 2x.
Use mouthwash everytime you brush and Act And Listerine are the best mouthwashes. Swish it in your mouth for 30sec then spit.
YOU COULD ALSO GET A TOUNGE CLEANER WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO MINIMIZE BAD BREATH. SOME BRUSHES HAVE IT ON THE BACK BUT THERE ARE ALSO TOUNGE CLEANERS.

spin brushes are also better then manual.

KAYY HOPE IT HELPED!<3

How can I take better care of my teeth?

How can I take better care of my teeth? I don’t drink cokes as much as I used too. Here lately I’ve been drinking water and sweet tea. Plus I’ve been brushing my teeth for an hour, both day and night. Anything else I can do??

1.) Buy some toothpaste that targets the exact thing you are trying to prevent (anti-cavity, good breath, whitening, etc.).

2.) Use listerine every morning and night.

3.) Brush your teeth after every meal.

4.) Buy an electric tooth brush. It gives your teeth 10 times more scrubs compared to doing it by hand.

5.) Buy teeth whitening strips.

6.) Floss every day.

7.) Chew mint gum after every meal. Your saliva that will be released can help break down left over food.

8.) Go see a dentist and get an annual tooth cleaning.

9.) Try to chew on crunchy foods (like apples, celery, carrots, etc.). This will help clean staining tartar and plaque from your teeth.

Do guys care about what a girls teeth look like?

Ok so i have messed up teeth. I mean its not so bad but my front two teeth the teeth next to them are in my gums. Im wanting braces because i don’t think men like me because of my teeth. When i don’t talk guys say im pretty but when i talk and my teeth are then shown i think the men tend to forget about me. Am i just thinking this or do men actually care about teeth?

I wouldn’t really care, but if it really bothers you and makes you self conscious, and is within your means to fix it, then by all means do it.
